Little Life of Shazza P!

Hello my loves I hope you are all keeping well?? I cannot believe we are in March already the year is flying by! I happen to love March as it’s my birthday month I can’t believe I’m 31 on the 4th.  I can’t wait to share with you next month what I got up to which will include a cheeky little visit across the water to Dublin

On the plus side of it being March, Spring is finally upon us and the lighter nights which I love. I’ve been round and about this month with exciting things happening on Bradford’s horizon, the Odeon finally making moves for opening with exciting gig announcements and the 2024 season at Bradford theatres has kicked off with a fabulous start.

I had cracking old time at the first show of the 2024 season, the fabulous Calendar Girls direct from London’s West End was in town and utterly amazing. I’m sure you have all seen the movie let me tell you the musical was up there right next to it.  What a feel good evening raising awareness for the dreaded C , I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the musical version, all I can say is wow, I was proper blown off my feet. The whole cast was amazing and it was all proper Yorkshire which if you know me I love, I laughed, ugly cried and sang along feeling every emotion under the sun in the 2 hour show. If you get chance to catch a show around the UK this year I highly recommend it’s such a feel good show albeit the story behind it.

Bradford theatres have a massive catalogue of fabulous shows gracing the stage this year why not have a yonder and book some tickets it’s a right night out for all the family.

I have to let you into a foodie secret spot that I can’t believe not many people know about, I’m a massive foodie so trust Auntie Shannon to steer you in the right direction for good grub.  Ohh heck, can you really beat some proper hearty grub washed down with few beers and cocktails? Head to BrewDog Bradford at the side of the Alhambra, let me tell you I was in my absolute foodie element, I absolutely loved everything about the place and the vibe was unreal with the cracking tunes playing.

I took my Dad our Dave along with me and he was also in his absolute element. Give him a beer and a burger and he’s happy as Larry, he loved trying to massive range of BrewDog beers , being close to my family I love that I can take them along for the blogging ride it really is amazing to be able to share my exciting journey with them and as you can see by the photos my dad our Dave loves posing for the photos !!

We enjoyed a selection of treats from the new menu, the loaded chicken burgers had to be possibly the best I have tasted the chicken melting in your mouth stacked with chicken, golden hash browns and oozing with cheese !!

if you’re looking for something a bit different for a bite to eat that won’t cost the earth, I highly recommend a visit to Brewdog Bradford its brilliant !!

That’s all for this month my loves, I can’t wait to share with you what I got up to for my 31st Birthday next month, let’s just say it’s a busy one with trips to Dublin, exciting events and exclusive reveals, see you back here next month, keep safe and have a good month .. tek care Shannon xx
